Return Policy & Exchanges
We hope you are happy with your jae purchase! We take pride in our unique products and hope that they make you as happy as they make us. However, we know that sometimes it doesn’t work out, so please see details about our return and exchange policy below.
All sales are final.
Purchases may be exchanged for another product(s) within 30 days. Please note that we do not refund original shipping charges, nor cover shipping charges for returned items.
Since many of our items are made in limited batches, we may not be able to replace your item with an exact match.
We do not accept returns and exchanges for items damaged through normal wear and tear. Please note the following about our materials.
- The wood used in our products is living, breathing material that responds to the environment around it: humidity, air and sunlight. This results in very natural, beautiful changes over time.
- The acrylic used in our jae Clear handles is durable but can accumulate natural scratches over time.
- Our lacquered paint handles have a solid finish. That said, we cannot guaranteed that it won't chip with normal wear and tear -- not unlike lacquered furniture.
- We think scratches in wood, acrylic or lacquer through normal wear and tear add to the "patina" of of our handles.
- When not using our handbag, we recommend storing it in the dustcover that comes with it.
- Fabrics can fade or wear out eventually. Though many of the fabrics we carry are high-performance fabrics, they are not indestructible.
We recommend storing our handles and slipcovers away from heat sources and out of direct sunlight in order to maintain their quality and hues.
To be eligible for a return for store credit, the item must be in the same condition in which it was received – unused – and in the original packaging. We do not cover return shipping costs.
