Sample: Brown Leather jae Bag Handle

We're trying something new: a jae Bag Leather handle! We have a few samples of this handcrafted piece that was made with the same button patten as our other modern-day Bermuda bag handles. All our liners and slipcovers (sold separately) in Shortie, Medium and Long sizes create a complete bag: find them on our website! (Shortie liner pictured is sold separately.)

Each handle features solid brass buttons in a natural finish that develop a beautiful patina over time and are reminiscent of upholstery nailheads. Magnets inside the handle help keep the handle closed. Hand-carry it or wear the leather handle over your arm. (Note that it does not feature a crossbody attachment feature.) The handle comes with a cotton dustcover for storage. (Liners, slipcovers and strap not included.) 

The jae Bag Leather handle measures 11 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" deep x 6 1/2" high; handle opening 4 1/4" wide x 2 1/8” high. 

We recommend that you tighten brass buttons periodically and store the handle in the dustcover. Keep the handle out of direct sunlight and heat to maintain original quality and hues and avoid exposing it to water or humidity. Leather develops a beautiful patina over time, including natural scratches and scuffs, and the surface should soften beautifully with more use. If you wish to clean the handle and treat any surface scratches, choose a quality leather conditioner that helps restore moisture. Remove the slipcover, liner and brass buttons before applying a leather conditioner. Follow manufacturer’s instructions on the leather conditioner bottle.
