jae Clear Handle

The jae Clear handle: made with EcoGreen – a 100% post-consumer recycled acrylic waste material. Pair the handle with one of our liners (sold separately) that come in Shortie, Medium and Long sizes to create a complete “base bag.” See photos for examples of liner sizes.

Handles feature solid brass hardware in a natural finish that develops a beautiful patina over time. Solid brass buttons are reminiscent of upholstery nailheads and brass hinges feature ball finials. Magnets inside the handle help keep the handle securely closed. Wear it over your arm or clip a shoulder or crossbody strap onto the d-rings inside the handle. The handbag handle comes with a cotton dustcover for storage. (Liners, slipcovers and strap not included.)

To clean the acrylic handle: remove the brass buttons and liner. Use a damp, clean soft cloth (not a paper towel) and a little mild soap. Apply a light pressure with the lukewarm soft cloth to wipe the handle, avoiding the hinges and d-rings. Rinse cloth with clean water and wipe any soap residue from the handle. Then use a clean, dry cloth to blot the handle dry. Another option is an acrylic-safe cleaner like Brillianize. Follow the directions on the packaging. DO NOT USE window cleaning sprays, kitchen scouring compounds or solvents of any kind such as acetone to clean the handle!
