jae Lacquer Handle––Kelly Green

The jae Lacquer handle – structured just like our other handbag handles, but in lacquered paint! Pair the handle with one of our liners (sold separately) that come in Shortie, Medium and Long sizes to create a complete “base bag.” See photos for examples of liner sizes.

Handles feature solid brass hardware in a natural finish that develops a beautiful patina over time. Solid brass buttons are reminiscent of upholstery nailheads and brass hinges feature ball finials. Magnets inside the handle help keep the handle securely closed. Wear it over your arm or clip a shoulder or crossbody strap onto the d-rings inside the handle. The handbag handle comes with a cotton dustcover for storage. (Liners, slipcovers and strap not included.) 

jae handles measure 11 5/16" wide x 1" deep x 6 1/2" high; handle opening 4 3/4". 

We recommend that you tighten the brass button/screws and hinges periodically as you might do with cabinet hardware. To clean the handle, use a soft cloth (not a paper towel). Apply a light pressure with the soft cloth to wipe the handle. DO NOT USE cleaning solvents of any kind to clean the handle!
